Smart Aadhaar & ID Card Print Designer
Formatting ID cards, Aadhaar cards, PAN cards, or standard PVC cards for printing can be a frustrating task using generic text editors. The Porexo Studio Pro Smart Designer bridges this gap by offering a professional, browser-based A4 layout workspace specifically calibrated for exact millimeter scaling and high-resolution PDF exports.
How to Print Perfect ID Cards
Follow these steps to guarantee your cards align perfectly when printed on standard A4 photo paper or PVC card stock:
- Apply the Smart Preset: Click the "Aadhaar Layout" preset on the left menu. This automatically generates precise 85mm × 55mm placeholders configured for standard wallets.
- Upload Your Image: Drag and drop your scanned ID card image into the workspace or use the Upload button.
- Smart Crop: Select your uploaded image and click the crop icon in the floating toolbar. Use our Auto-Crop wand to instantly snap the bounding box to the card's edges, or crop manually.
- Align & Export: Drag the cropped image into the placeholder (the Snap-to-Grid feature guarantees flawless alignment). Finally, hit "Export PDF" or use standard browser printing.
100% Offline & Secure
Your highly sensitive ID documents are never uploaded to our servers. All cropping, resizing, and PDF rendering occurs locally inside your web browser via JavaScript. Your privacy is guaranteed.
Millimeter Precision
Unlike basic text editors that approximate size, our canvas maps exactly to standard A4 dimensions (210mm x 297mm). What you see on the screen is exactly what your printer will output.
Frequently Asked Questions
What are the standard sizes for ID cards in India?
Standard wallet-sized ID cards (including PAN, Voter ID, and the bottom cut-out portion of an E-Aadhaar) are strictly printed at 8.5 cm × 5.5 cm (85mm × 55mm). Our Smart Preset is pre-configured to this exact dimension.
Why does my print out look blurry?
Make sure you are uploading a high-resolution scan (at least 300 DPI) rather than a compressed WhatsApp photo. When exporting via our "Export PDF" tool, we use a 2x scale rendering engine to preserve maximum visual fidelity for printers.
